SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS NEEDED ASAP!! - South West London, London
A fantastic mainstream Primary School based in South London are seeking 3 dedicated, hardworking and committed SEN Learning Support Assistant. This position is to start from March Spring Term, running until the end of the academic year in July. I have worked with this school closely over the last year and know that they are very supportive of new staff, and have a great work ethic at the school.
The ideal candidate will need to have had experience with either:
• MLD • PMLD • EBD • Autism • ASD • ADHD/Dyslexia • And at least six weeks SEN experience.
Knowledge of PECS, TEACCH, MAKATON, TEAM TEACH, Manual Handling or other SEN programmes would be an advantage but not essential.
The school is situated a short walk from the underground station, so location is ideal! The school itself is a brilliant place to work and was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofstead. It has friendly experienced staff and outstanding support procedures in place both in house and on a borough level.
This position comes with a number of advantages as there is a distinct possibility of the role being extended in to next year September time. The school has a history of taking on long term staff from us on a permanent basis if a vacancy arises.
