The School

Our client is an independent, co-educational prep school who achieved ‘excellent’ in their latest ISI inspection.
Our client is a co-educational school for students aged 3-13, located in Hertfordshire, offering easy access to major road links. The school prides itself on ensuring a secure environment which encourages children to explore and enjoy all that school life has to offer.

Our client aims are to have a thorough and stimulating teaching method to provide pupils with a sound and wide-ranging education in a pleasant, lively and homely atmosphere so that they leave well prepared for the next stage.
The classes are small ensuring each child receives the attention and the level of teaching they need to make progress.

The school also encourages extra-curricular activities, which you will be expected to partake in. The ability and willingness to coach sport and be actively involved in such activities would be beneficial to your application, demonstrating dedication and loyalty to the school.

The Role

Our client is looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Teacher of Maths to join a thriving and energetic department. Seeking an individual who is dedicated and forward-thinking, who will take pride in developing students’ ability in mathematics.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Maths Teacher to join a thriving School.
The successful candidate will have vision and passion about the subject with a great ability in supporting students to enjoy lessons and achieve their potential. You will be expected to teach across Key Stage 3 therefore, previous experience of teaching Key Stage 3 is essential.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Own transport and a full UK Driving Licence.
• QTS, PGCE or NARIC approved
• Broad knowledge and experience of the syllabus
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• A current enhanced DBS certificate
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Experience working in the UK school curriculum within KS3 to KS4.
