Mechanical Training Consultant - Swindon, Wiltshire
We are working with a national training provider who have a centre in the Swindon area, who are looking for a Mechanical Training Consultant to enhance their current Mechanical teaching programme.
The successful candidate will have to create and deliver high quality training courses to the training provider's customers and their nominated delegates.
The courses will need to meet customer and market needs and be updated regularly to reflect changes in working practices, legislation, UK law and increasingly innovative training methods.
The candidate will also have to deliver training events to agreed standards at Develop training centres, or on customer premises throughout UK and occasionally overseas. For that reason, they are looking for someone who is able to spend at least 1-2 nights away from home per week as business needs dictate.
The candidate requirements for the job are: -A PTLLS/CTLLS teaching qualification or equivalent -Either an Engineering degree, or a HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Technology (Alternatively, qualifications and experience leading to at least Incorporated Engineer status). -A1 or D32/33 Assessor qualification. -Basic, recognised Health & Safety qualification. -Previous experience in teaching or instructing in technical subjects. -Evidence of involvement at supervisory level in Building Services project work, including Heating Air conditioning & Ventilation design and installation. -Evidence of boiler plant and heating services installation and maintenance operations.
